The Michigan Federation of Music Clubs

announces auditions for the

$400 HIGH SCHOOL AWARD - PERCUSSION

Date: February 21, 2010 (Please note revised date)
Time: 1:00 pm
Place: Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan
Eligibility:

Applicants Must:

  • Be in grade 11 or grade 12
  • Be residents of the state of Michigan

Previous winners of this award may not apply.

 
Audition Requirements:
  • Two selections from different periods and of contrasting styles
  • One selection must be memorized
  • One copy of each selection must be provided for the adjudicators
  • Photocopies will not be returned
  • Total performance will not exceed fifteen (15) minutes
  • Original music must be present at audition
Accompanists: Applicants must provide their own accompanists, if applicable.
Fees: Application fee is $10.00
Application Deadline: Postmarked no later than February 1, 2010
